SAP IdM 8.0 End-of-Life: What to Do Now
December 2027 sounds far away — until you realize migration takes 18–36 months. Here is the timeline, the options, and a realistic path that does not require big-bang.

- Months 1–3: inventory connectors, workflows, and custom ABAP integrations
- Months 4–12: parallel run with target IGA — do not big-bang SAP HR feeds
- Months 12–24: cutover by domain — access requests first, then certification, then provisioning
- Months 24–36: decommission IdM with audit evidence of parity
